Maurin Land

The Maurin Ranch, homesteaded in 1888, has been family owned and operated for five generations. Our agricultural history is as rich and varied as the mountains and valleys we call home. We cherish this land, and hold a strong commitment to the preservation of the agricultural heritage, environment, and wildlife that continues to bless us. 

 

Hosting events at Maurin Ranch has allowed us to realize our evolving vision of sharing this family legacy with like-minded people while supporting our ongoing agricultural activities and land stewardship. In accordance with our land stewardship standards, we limit events to no more than one per month and three per year. This allows us to minimize impact on the land and environment as well as provide a clean, fresh, and exclusive venue site for each of our clients and their guests. We require that you have an event planner. If you do not yet have an event planner in mind, we're happy to connect you with our favorites who have experience with our venue site.

We offer for your use a private 20-acre field in a creek bottom valley along Capitol Creek with expansive mountain views and minimal evidence of human activity. The field is primitive in that there is no electricity, potable water, sewer, or buildings available, though all of that can be brought in by your event planner. With there being no established facilities, you will have the artistic liberty to create the perfect scene for your event. We irrigate the field and only mow areas that you will use to keep that wild mountain meadow look our clients are usually after.

Our site fee is $6,500 per day of use, counting setup and breakdown days as well as the event date.

Maurin Ranch provides the idyllic scene and setting to make the vision of your special event become a reality. Our wedding and event venue offers the pristine canvas you need to create the stunning occasion you and your guests will always remember. We’re holding space for your celebration and can’t wait to work with you!
